Answer: No pull-ups. Start early — before 24 months. Overlook advice that says to watch for signs from your child to let you know when he's genial. You're the parent, right?
Put your child in a longish T-shirt and take off the diaper. Put him that today, you'll use the toilet. Your child is smart enough to know what you want from him. Let him be uncomfortable when he's wet and he'll number out that being dry is better.

REPLY: They will get it eventually and there is no need to stress about it. Kids chain at different ages and there is so much pressure to start training so young nowadays. Give it conditions, keep encouraging them, and they will eventually show interest.
I also don't advise you use pull-ups. They are just like a diaper and even more extravagant. The only advantage they have is they are easier to take on and off without having to undress your little one.

Acknowledge: We started when he turned 2 and tried for months with mixed results. We tried to it worth someone's while with M&M's, we kept a bunch of toys in the bathroom, read books in the bathroom, all that jazz. What eventually worked was letting the kid run around with no pants on and we brought the potty chair into the living room. He had no accidents as eat one's heart out as he was naked and the potty chair was nearby. We did that for a few weeks at home and he was pretty reliable after that. Of lecture, there were accidents, but relatively few. I know it sounds wrong and people who do this tenable won't admit to it, but it's what worked for us. ...
